Empowering positive social change through collaboration is at the heart of what Kids Thrive do and last week we had the privilege of witnessing them being awarded for their efforts.
One of our amazing client’s Kids Thrive was presented the National Philanthropy Australia Award via a virtual awards ceremony held on Tuesday 17th November 2020. The accolade was won for the Community Philanthropy Award for their program Geelong Kids as Catalysts, alongside funding partners Give Where You Live Foundation and Geelong Community Foundation.
Led by Creative Directors Dr. Andrea Lemon and Andrea Rieniets delivering in-school programs for child led social change. The six step program has been delivered to 35 Victorian schools since 2011. The focus on educating children with the skills to identify and solve real-world problems facing their community and encouraging action through collaborative and creative projects.
